Napa and jwh are great players with a lot to offer. But as a team we need to continually improve year in year out. I'm not sure where the improvement will come from with these two. Certainly not saying just punt them. But they would command interest from other teams now and we need to get creative with our roster and cap management. We can't just rely on tedesco. I think a big name forward needs to go and be replaced with two workhorse forwards.

It's completely ridiculous to have as many wingers as we do and the fact that fergo can be paid upwards of 500k to sit out there when our forwards and bench is weak is a joke.

From the same era, we didn't choke in the prelims of 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2010 and 2013.

i think we are slightly better than prelim chokers based on our results. GF results on the other hand...

This post sums me up and I also agree with Cockadoodledo's posts (8 and 14). Tedesco will improve this team but there are some major issues that need fixing elsewhere, particularly between the ears of the remaining players, otherwise Tedesco will be on a hiding to nothing.

I feel sorry for Tedesco, coming into the club and being expected to compensate for other players in the team who cannot deliver when it counts. Not just the 9 and 7 but also our front row who are unable to dominate against the best packs. Unless something changes there, I doubt we will be able to improve on what we achieved this year.

I'm sure Teddy is used it, after all he has being doing all this and more at tiggggers the last few seasons
