Cordner should be sole captain of the squad, with Maubs his 2nd in command. They are our only 2 players who perform consistently even as the team crumbles around them.

Friend is not a leader. He is a soldier.

Pearce's resolve has all the strength of a fabreshe egg.

JWH is a toothless pitbull these days. Plenty of bark but no bite. How many times has this clown called out the opposition forward pack in the lead up to a big game, only to get steamrolled?

Agreed. Best move is Cords as a sole captain and Maubs as his vice.

Cords needs to develop his "having the refs in his pocket" play. He already has the "lead by example" down pat.

Maubs would be a good stand-in during origin and is solid all year around (in the forwards, not centre).

IMO Cords will and should be the next Aust skipper after Captain cheat retires

So true. I've tried to get back into it this season but I just can't.
