Not saying this is true - I will believe it when I see Official Communication. Lets say hypothetically this happens. What are your thoughts?

Pearce to Souths... that would be a little painful. I personally love Pearce, I think the defensive side of his game is the best of all the halves and you can never call into question his heart, I think he goes out there and gives his all for the Roosters week in and week out.

I do believe that he is just not a great player, he is a toiler, in the vain of Aubo. He does everything he can do, he gives 100% but his 100% is someone else 70%. Cooper, I can't remember a time I have seen him shine without the likes of Slater, Smith or JT by his side. You know, like JT for the Cowboys. He has always been such a dominant and controlling half, but I can't remember Cronk without Smithy controlling the ruck or Slater up on the inside.

In either case, honestly - I wouldn't be against this move. If Cooper signs on for 2/3 years and we move on Pearce... I think it would be really hard, but I think it would be a positive move by the club. Alternatively, move on Jake and put Pearce in the 9.... it's been spoken about ALOT... but I really wonder A) if it would work and B) how Pearce would take not being the number 7.
