Unfortunately we have a bad record of letting the best players go and remain loyal to failures. We’ve stuck by Pearce for how long now? He’s not come good so let him go! Look at Kearney in one year here! I bet they’ll dump Kearney to the bench to keep Pearce. It’s insane the way our club hasn’t got the guts to make the tough decisions. Same with Robbo. Just can’t make the tough decisions with regards to discipline. 3 preliminary final losses means butts have to be kicked including Pearce’s and Robbo’s.

Seen on TV what they call classic countdown today when old Molly was attempting to interview Iggy Pop - don't know if either of them knew what was going on especially Molly- Confusion rained on that show as well as too much of the Green Room or substances I suggest.

In fact all NRL players and coaches religiously read the Chookpen for the up to date info re who is playing for who and also to get tips from the games best armchair coaches.
Well I know where the Telecrap and SMH get all their Coop scoops from - the Cronkpen.

I'm thinking that Politis felt some sense of obligation towards not only Pearce jnr but also to Snr. The club has been loyal enough IMO.
Mate, you are giving 'fans' and in particular 'social media' way too much credit. Both camps are rife with mouthbreathers, whereas the club is stacked with professionals. I know who I'd trust to be making the right decisions. And it ain't social media.

Not sure I agree with you.

99% of the chookpen here have assumed that pearce will be leaving to make room for cronk - I had also assumed the same thing until recently. The article indicates otherwise for the time being.

Maybe, just maybe, this journalist has got parts of the article correct.

Yep Cronk will quite logically replace Paul Carter... you heard it from me first. He’ll play out most of the season with Wyong in an attempt to develop talent in the region.
