  • Manly will show us this weekend how far we have fallen

yes it was great to get a win on the weekend, but we beat a very ordinary dogs side

it has been a while since we have played a top 4 side, yes our form has been better in the last month, but we are a long way off the standard set by the top 4 sides this year.

if we defend like we did on saturday the Sea Eagles will put 40 on us.

there is no way the likes of JWH/Tasi/Masoe will roll forward against Manly like they did against the Bullscum, we have always struggled with their in you face high speed defensive line.

Maybe. But if we get a 7-2 penalty count again in our favour manly won't find it that easy..

I'm convinced we can match anyone we have the side to do it it's all in the mind and up to the coach and good coaches get the best out of there players

Agree 100% with Fletch, the dogs were not realy that much of a test, their play the balls were slow so no pressure was really put on our defence:imo, also their bomb diffusal was abysmal on Timotais side.

Yet Manly were beaten and held scoreless in the second half against a Tigers side that was gifted every favour against us the week before.

Manly are a myth, stop Glenn Stewart and his kiddy fiddler brother and we win the game.

I don't rate them but they seem to have the wood on us.

Just like the merge scum stain.

I fear the Roosters will get their arses handed to them against the sea egulls.

                      You should retire that expression

I am looking forward to the game.

I think we have a chance.

Anyone still need clarification on the distance of the fall?

No worse week to meet them after that loss

Anything other than a herculean effort will result in an absolute slaughter

the next two weeks will see us either put in a decent effort or get hammered!

re Manly: JWH & Tasi against former club, control Stewart bro's/Foran/Lyon & upset on the cards (we live in hope!)
Foran v Jr jr (Foran kept smashing him in r2), Stewart v G-spot.

re St Scum: GF revenge! choking?

I will be happy if we contest, if we contest we are half a chance. Small steps forward is better than unrealistic expectations.
Our Middle 3 forwards need to punch the line all night, JJ needs to get over Foran, BJ needs to defend closer to TC. Perrit and Guerra need to continue their support of each other and lastly the coaching staff need to address tackle technique.
