I recall he resigned pre Christmas 2016 for 4yrs. I was bewildered at the time upon reading it in the media due to the 4yrs. Napa no longer Napalm.

Each to their own, but I think I could take a middle forward from any other team and be happy to replace him with.

I reckon we would have flogged the Dogs in the Prelim and had a very good chance against Souffs in the GF when we would have been fresh and had the experience advantage.

Souffs played average in the GF imo. They just got lucky with the worst GF opponent in living memory.
