Before Bernie Gurr took over they were - not the case now with him as CEO-Parra will be a top 4 chance in 2018 for sure.

Gurr hasn't been there for a year yet from my information...The dust of the board squabbles still hasn't settled yet. Will take some time IMO for someone of Cronks calibre wanting stability, not uncertainty. Decisions for Cronk is now, not in 2-3 years time...

Parra are a club in perennial crisis. If Cronk is serious about wanting to go to a well managed club, then Parra is not where he will go regardless of the money. What ever someone else said about wanting $1.2m. who the hell actually knows? Money PLUS other conditions will govern Cronks decisions and if he wants to become a rich person, which is one of his apparent aims, then Bouris will show him how.

When they have had success it`s been when Roosters have been in charge - going back to Terry Fearnley days- then Big Jack Gibson - John Monie(assistant coach to Big Jack- he taught Monie how to coach) plus Roosters players who went to Parra- Quayle/Porter/Olling/Peard/Beetson/Stevens etc.

Roosters should be given assistant premiership win status for Parra's 4 premierships- Also need to assess Souffs premiership wins to see how many were Rooster assisted because they stole our junior areas and how many of what should have been our Juniors were involved in their premiership wins.

Just checking if you believe everything you read in the Telegraph. Channel 9 news said nothing about another team. They said Cronk coming, Friend going and Pearce to hooker. I'll just wait until it is officially announced instead of possibly making a complete idiot of myself.

Do you remember what position Wing played before being a dummy half though? many halves have transitioned into the dummy half position - even Joey Johns played dummy half at SOO level - Dummy halves nowadays have to have the kicking game and the skills of a half/5-8 in attack- Not a dummy half that just passes the ball from the play the ball and makes 50 plus tackles a game - Robbo seemingly didn't allow Friend to do any more than that - he does have a kicking and running game - even a 40-20 against the Dogs- may have been the only one they had in 2017?

Interesting so Channel 9 don't quote anyone in their stories and the paper does and you still have doubts - Channel 7 said that if Cronk signs with the Chooks - he will partner Pearce in the halves with Friend and Keary sharing the dummy half role - channelling Watson for Keary perhaps Robbo Style- I Don't watch Channel 9 news or much of that channel after the way they treated Pearce over the yellow dress nothing incident - had it as their main story all week - on the Sunday before it become known some dh reporter saying oh I have seen the footage it will be the end of Pearce`s career - when I viewed it I couldn't see how that would the case - but old channel 9 ran with it all week though
