  • Uncle Nick don`t sign Cronk- Not worth the angst

It may or may not have happened but the clear thinking now is that signing Cronk will cause more problems than what he is worth- If say Pearce or Friend are forced out players will be very unhappy as a result and Robbo needs to be aware this could result in him losing the dressing room and you all know what happens then. If Roosters sign Cronk there is nothing less than a premiership win expected and if no premiership it will be goodbye Robbo for sure and certain- this maybe even occur if no Cronk signing too.

What Robbo needs to do is to change his coaching style including better game plans/ team selections /usage of players from the bench including not selecting unfit players on the bench/ eradiate the errors the same players make week in and week and have a better system of developing and fast tracking players to NRL standard - Looking at our potential 36 squad for 2018 (30 NRL players and 6 development players)- there is a real drop off in NRL experience in many positions after the main 17 or 18 players.

Wont be a contender if players say 19 to 30 and 36 are not NRL standard or ready which one has to say they are not - need a very very low injury run in 2018 as a result of the lack of depth.

What Robbo needs to do is remind the players that without the fans, they wont earn a billion dollars a years.
I love Robbos intial approach to players ..........learning the clubs history, respecting it, and putting in while they earn the billions.

What Robbo needs to do is ask himself how the playing group under him responds to adverticy.

Those who cant afford houses in Monaco shall go to Manly.

If it happens that we sign Cronk and don't win the comp next year with the likes of Teddy in the side, then I agree that its a real possibility and questions will and should be asked. If the club can turn its back on one of its favorites sons in Pearce, then surely Robbo is a real possibility of facing the same fate. We all know Uncie Nicks history with coaches. He won't tolerate anything other than a premiership if he has gone to so much effort to put the cattle in place.

This is whole a Cronk fiasco could claim a lot more than just Pearcey in the long run. I hope it doesn't but there's a genuine possibility is all I'm saying.

Uncle Nick Please sign Cronk as we may then have a half that can deliver the crunch plays, that won't go missing when the pressure is on, be able to get a repeat set, has a brain and be able to play what's infront of him, be able to do more than just put up bombs. Also a half that won't be arrested, lead young players astray, pissed out of his brain more often than not.

But hey it's just the way I feel about it.

So your saying if they sign Cronk and Tedesco-(who you rate as a superstar(I don't) ) and don't win the comp that Robbo will continue on as the head coach- I would very much doubt it - he will be sacked for sure and certain as what will Uncle Nick do then - sign Bellamy as coach and Slater and Smith as players-painted themselves into a corner as they say if they sign Cronk

It`s a premiership or the highway for Robbo if they sign Cronk as why would they be wanting to sign him for? - Uncle Nick is thinking that Cronk will deliver a premiership same as his reason for signing SBW.

Exactly what may happen - be a lot of unrest at the club if Peace is forced out - Cronk not worth the angst - Robbo needs to be a better coach

Bellamy didn't win the comp in 13, 14, 15, 16... at what point would you have sacked him, Salvo.

Uncle Wayne hasn't won one since 2010. Should he be sacked too?

It's incredibly hard to win Premierships. Look at the Cowboys and Storm teams next year. Even with Teddy and Cronk we'll still arguably 'only' have the 3rd best side on paper.

No. I’m saying that it’s not a certainty he will be sacked if we don’t win the comp. You are saying it is. In fact, I think there’s more chance of him surviving that than not but that’s not the point.

Every Rooster contracted player may be thinking the same as Pearce in being replaced by someone else - this signing decision could reek havoc in the dressing room and a complete lack of trust in the coaching staff- once they lose the dressing room it will be all over for them as the club will punt the head coach not the 36 players- Need to consider the long term affect on the playing roster if they sign Cronk when Pearce is a players player - why I am now at the opinion they should not sign him as it will cause more damage than benefits- Robbo should be aware of this as if they sign Cronk he will have no excuses being given the tool in Cronk he asked for to win a comp- If no premiership Robbo is sacked simple as that.- Paul Green or Craig Bellamy to takeover.

You don't watch question time parliament on tv - your mate shorten ideas had a angst look on his face as a result of the feds investigating the books of the AMU- his donation to get up when head of the AWU and other matters.

If they sign Cronk -it`s a premiership or goodbye to Robbo for sure and certain-Uncle Nick wont put up with another non premiership year when Robbo should have had 3(minor premiers 3 years in a row) and a GF appearance at least this year- Chooks were a chance of beating the Storm given their good/bad/ugly game - needed to be more good though during the game.
