whatever kid - if you think i insulted people you go ahead - the aim of my post was to get people to think twice before being so utterly disrespectful and critical with comments like "pearce can piss off" etc when all he has done has been replaced by a better half. He hasn't walked out on us and he hasn't done anything to warrant such comments. He surely is the victim or collateral damage to us signing cronk. Hes not the bad guy and i dont think anyone is, not the club or the coach or uncle nick - they have jumped on an opportunity to sign the best half in the comp and god bless them for that, he played his guts out to the best of his ability week in week out for 10 years and in my book that's all you can ask of anyone and i will respect the effort.

Pearce has played 238 games for our club and i think in every one of them given 100%. Sure his not the best half in the comp but he is one of them. He has shown nothing but commitment and loyalty to this club and as a result the club up until now has shown it back. He has done 238 times more for this club than any of the try hard wannabes that are completely disrespecting him on here lately. He bleeds for the club for 10 years, is a premiership winning half and has been around for a very successful period for the club.

Sure be excited and upfront about the fact that Cooper is a better half than Mitch but why disrespect the man so much when all he has done is give his all and been a large part in the success we have had for 10 years. I'm excited Cronk is joining as well as he is a better half than Mitch but to come out and completely disrespect the effort and achievements he has made since being here shows how low some of you are. These same guys will mention loyalty in threads going forward from here and they wouldn't have a clue what the word means.

I dont think anyone really denies his effort or commitment. If people cant complain about his ability, and the comon thread is his kicking game and not producing in big games whats the use of the forum. There are alot of passionate supporters who wear ther heart on there sleeve and get a little carried away but to say give them selves a uppercut ? Maybe you should put a few on yourself. I think he is a solid player lacking in a few areas but there are plenty of good judges who rate him very highly so its a matter of opinion. I think it would be best for him to have a new start but i would prefer him to stay personally.

Thanks for the polite intelligent reply, I agree with you about his effort, I also agree that people on here who are disrespectful in the way they post comments could learn some manners. I have stated elsewhere that I think he always gave 100%, and that certainly is worthy of respect. I think he is getting some bad advice right now, thinking he is being disrespected by the club , when a possible move to hooker or lock could be the making of him. It certainly would be a shame if he left on bad terms after so long at the club. But even if it comes to that I would wish him well.

Good post. There's a reason there's a stack of interest in him. Don't want him to leave, I'd sooner see the back of others with less ability or inconsistent onfield attitude.
Plus, I'm curious to see him in a side with Cronk and Keary. Pearce is an excellent backup on the run.
