I honestly don't get all the drama over Pearce he's a good first grader, nothing special and the club has an opportunity to sign an elite player or supposed to be so for the next two years. The Club would be negligent not to chase Cronk and plenty on here would say so.

If other posters opinions on Lam and O'Sullivan are correct in that they will be the future of the club then this Cronk signing will be for all the better as he will only be here for two years, I can't see Pearce moving over in two years time for generation next.

He’s after a contract upgrade which will be difficult to afford if we have to buy Cronk. He also wants it sooner rather than later. There are plenty of clubs screaming for a young up coming superstar that would pay him what he wants on the back of his potential alone.

I dont get this contract upgrade term when a player is already under contract.
If he signed a contract for x amount over x amount of years then he cant get updated until that contract is finished.

I hope he won't be going anywhere. I get my info from sources I would rather keep to myself out of respect for them. Besides, it's hardly a big secret anyway. Everyone on here has been talking about it for a while now. I do agree with you however about contracts but sadly they don't mean much in the business that is rugby league these days.

Hey Cock if you check you will find I was very upfront about the fact that the one on the left wasn't really me right from the start when I put that up I did explain it wasn't. But even after that I kept getting continual questions is that really me - somehow I think a lot of posters just wanted it to be so?
