  • No room for myles in 2012

With so many other young back rowers now we really don't need Myles at all. Maubs, Guerra, Cherrington, Bosden, Arona, Cordner, FPN, Takairangi, Symonds, Ethan Lowe and Anasta (though we don't need him either).

He's not needed in the front row either with Kennedy, Masoe, Ryles, JWH, Tasi and Kane Evans.

Basically, when he leaves all he's doing is leaving a massive hole in the salary cap!

    GO THE CHOOKIES!!!

Myles is better than all players you named

I know but if we stick to the youth policy it wouldn't be long before he left plus some of these players have the potential to be just as good.

Potential is a lot different than performing week in week out

Myles is great in Origin but the things he gets away with at that level aren't tollerated in the NRL, He costs us too many penalties and errors!

Myles provides a very high work rate and he does it up the middle. No one in the list of backrowers above does that.

He also provides experience. The young guys need someone to learn off. They won't be learning the art of the tough stuff from Anasta....

I think he will be sorely missed.

I agree he will be missed but why was he let go 12 months early, as for leader ship just watch G spot he never stops talking and directing and the opposition appear to be able to score at will when he is off the field, just watch and let me know your own assessment.

Myles is our best forward and he will be missed. Someone needs to step up and do the amount of work he does. Takes plenty of hit ups, consistently makes over 100M and makes plenty of hard tackles. Concedes less than one penalty a game and very few errors. Tell me who else in the team contributes more than him? There have been many assumptions on why he is leaving but that's done and dusted and he gives 100% each week. So who will step up and take on his workload? And don't give me names of who we should buy when they are already contracted to other clubs.

Well we're obviously gonna have to do without him

IMO we have over-invested in young forwards and are yet to really see any results. This has left us short of creative backs, and in an embarrasing position where we don't really have any true to form wingers. Oh well... we got to a GF with this team, we just need to fire up!!!!

Of course he will be missed.

Myles snapped Ben Roberts in half in the first 10 minutes of the game against the Bulldogs. He never recovered.
When he tackles them, he hurts them. There is no one else at the Roosters that does this.
Next year he will be tackling and hurting us.
                          Thanks Nate and good luck.

Myles will not play for the Titans when they are playing the Roosters, It's in his contract agreement, thats why he was released early!
