How the hell did Gerard Sutton get the nod over Cecchin for the World Cup Final?
The bloke is in a deadset love fest with himself and I bet he watches every game he officiates. Has little feel for the flow of a game and can't wait to blow a penalty or infringement just to get his ugly mug on the telly. Is all that is bad about refereeing.

Cecchin has been hard done by.
He made the right call on the final play. He was unable to go up to the video ref, cos he'd correctly already blown the whistle and called a knock-on.
He had the option to delay blowing the whistle to wait and see if Fifita scored so that he could then go to the video ref, but Fifita was a long way off scoring and it's a bit much to ask him not to blow the whistle when he sees an infringement.
