Good call. I second that motion Latrell's brain snaps are more from lack of concentration, rather than lack of ability, but his tendency to run hot and cold without notice means I'm loath to give him too much responsibility. There is still a lot of growing up to do by Latrell, which is understandable given his age.

Life is what it is. Some people mature young & some people never really mature.
He has the natural blessed ability to do something in life that he loves doing (playing Rugby League) & getting a sh!t load of money for doing it.
Whether that pans out or not will come down to what ever it is in life that has some people succeed & that some people who dont. We will all have to wait & see.

Am really enjoying the footy played so far, especially from the Pacific nations. And the commentary and the panel discussion are so far superior to anything the gibberers at 9 have offered for years. Jim Wilson is doing a great job of leading the telecast I reckon. How good is it to have people talking about the game that do not have their own agendas and opinions to push down everyone's throat, and just concentrate on the positives of the games.

Have to disagree as Sterlo knows more about the game that any of 7's commentary and Gus saved our club and the ARL from oblivion - Gus cleaned out the club and made us competitive again during his tenor as coach from the last 3 games in 1994 to 1999- No Gus No Freddy and no Gus as Footy director and no premiership as he signed Sticky as coach- need to know Uncle Nick is a second Father to Gus.

None of that means that they are good at commentary and easy to listen to. I'm sure the mute button was invented to stop Gould ruining a good game of footy. If I need a lecture I can find plenty of people more worthy than Gould of giving it. Which is why the money I pay on Fox is money well spent as apart from Origin and the GF my life is free of the 9 gibberers.

IMO, Gould’s commentary has gone backwards over the past 10 years or so. No doubting his knowledge of the game but the skills on the mic are illumine him these days.

Sterlo on the other hand is the guru. His knowledge of not just league but sport as a whole is amazing and come across very well calling games with insightful comments and a non ‘headline’ approach.
