I really hate that rule of stretching a leg out and catching the ball to rule it as out. It should be either two feet or it's out by the player who stuck their foot out.
Yeah and while they are at it They might as well make it you have to have both feet out in general play to be out as well
When you trust your television
what you get is what you got
Cause when they own the information
they can bend it all they want
Cecchin could not get off ground fast enough. Really bad decision. Integrity unit should be called as not going upstairs was a disgrace. All day they go upstairs but not for that try
Why? He got the call 100% correct. If he had gone upstairs they would have made it exciting but the same call would have been made

I thought he got the call wrong but I just saw that Fifita had his arm dragged therefore he lost the ball thus a knock on...Chicken legs was correct. Tongans were great even though they had Fifita...

so answer me this and I am man enough to concede I may have got the decision wrong, but why for the 99% of times where it is a clear decision do we go upstairs only for this one which had doubt involved, not to go upstairs?

May I answer this Axe? Well Headless can answer this too but I'll say that on the replay I saw the English player grab Fifitas arm which caused his arm to drop the ball... Since Ceccin was on that side of the field and only meters away, he may have seen it clearly so he gave it straight away even before Fifita got the ball back...Isn't Gus and co going on about how they want the refs to make a call more often?

thanks Roc. I saw it as a strip and my son called lose carry. But the point is there is uncertainty. Refer.
but throughout this World Cup most tries are referred.
agree we need less but this decision was a critical decision. Was there a shadow of doubt? If yes refer

That would have been pretty much my reply. He was 100% certain it was a knock on and called it as such. I suspected it was a knock on and then on replay couldn't see how it would be anything but a knock on. Even if the Pom had stripped the ball, Fifita got the last touch and knocked it forward before regathering it.
