If the 1 million quoted a season to sign Cronk for two season is correct- approx 1/9th of the Cap - do you think Uncle Nick wont want a return on this investment - A premiership if not back to back ones? Be no excuses one has to say AND 2018 will need to be a premiership year as why sign him and not retain the status quo with Pearce and Keary as the halves and either develop targeted lower grade players to NRL standard or sign others to strengthen the obvious weaknesses - front row/centre/goal kicking player of NRL standard such as Ethan Lowe who is off contract at the end of 2018.

When do the long suffering fans get a return on our investment?
Maybe our money would be better spent on court action against the nrl and their ideas on restraint of trade, gambling , and lack of transparency???????????

I support a foundation club, estabablished in 1908 , that plays a proffesional version of "kick and chuck the leather ball".........
My dads old man stuck by us during a lot of lean years.

            Fuk the nrl

I would love Pearse to stay and play hooker, Radley isn't ready for a full season as an 80 minute no9. It will take a huge change in his mindset but if he gets the correct advice and can make the adjustment whole heartedly. Someone should remind him of the importance of the hooking role, that the best player in the world is a hooker, the captain of the Australian team. It's not a downgrade to move to hooker. Some great players have changed positions and become even better and more valuable players for their teams, Gene Miles, Lockyer, Toovey, Lewis, etc hope he doesn't throw away the potential to be a one club legend.

Its not on the want list & its not what I would want but I have a feeling that it could be
                      Keary goes.

Letting Keary go defies all logic. He's in his mid 20s and about to enter his prime. He's also arguably the best 5/8 in the competition (I feel Morgan found his best spot at halfback).

Either way he's certainly in the upper echelon an as a true running 5/8 with a good pass he offers us something as a traditional 5/8 that not many other clubs have.

This is why I can't believe we'd risk losing him in a year. Robbo and Nick should have come out and said that Keary is our long term no.6 as soon as Cronk signed.

Their silence on this and talk of Pearce in the halves scares me. Surely they won't do the unthinkable and be prepared to let Keary walk.

I’m sure Management has spoken with Keary. Just not reported in press

Why wouldn’t they? They would have taken calls from any player and discussed with spine and leadership. Cant imagine keary wouldn’t have called Robbo at the very least. He took on the phone chucker.
