With Mini to retire and Braith likely to go to ESL.
Should be able to re-sign the rest.

Guys peni tagive is gonna be a superstar if he stays injury free a good mate of mine played Harold mats n sg ball with him at wests and my mateysed to always and still does tell me to watch out for him
he's a freak... So I guess he's been very injury prone so far but has been injury free the last year and actually played good and for Wayne Bennett to bring him to the dragons he must of seen something he liked

Wish I could say that I had some insider knowledge or I was part of the inner sanctum, but fact is he was just part of my "wish list" along with Michael Oldfield.

I watch every game every week and I thought this guy would bring speed and size to our backline - something we have been sorely missing. Sure he has had a few injuries but if he stays fit and our halves provide quality ball he will be an attacking weapon for us.

BJ in the centres, Tagive on the wing and when Moga is ready BJ shifts in the forward pack.

A lot of ifs though given that all 3 players are just potential at the moment but I get the feeling that's what the club would be looking at.

Our Club is a farkin joke. We are the farkin laughing stock of the league. Letting Linnett go (or not fighting harder to keep him) is an absolute disgrace and shows where our Club is at. The management at this Club are an embarrassment. We were just about the most hated club in 02, 03 and 04, but that was because we were so successful. And I loved it. We are still hated but now we cannot claim that as a reason. This kid is going to be a great player. He just needs to be at a club that is going in the right direction............hmmmmmmmm.. maybe thats why he has left.

Anasta throws good passes, when the refs don't call them back for being forward when they're NOT.

Carney and Pearce havn't exactly been great halves with magic passes this year...and they need to skill-up in the off season.

Someone posted earlier that it doesn't matter who we sign in the centres, Anasta will continue to stifle our backline.

As for Linnett/Tagive, Linnett is overrated on here, he is a solid first grader with a good football brain, but I think BJ is as good as Kane already, and could turn out to be much better.

Tagive gives us a bit of height and speed at a bargain price - we could do a lot worse. If we cut Minichiello/Graham and picked up Vidot or Oldfield, I'd be happy. We still need a fullback for next year, with Graham promising but unproven.

Taking the loss a bit hard aren't you mate.

It is always a balancing act with the salary cap, we do not know who Management are looking at for future signings.
Kane may have been asking for to much, we are not privy to all the information regarding players deals.

I think we can cover his position in the centers pretty well, don't stress to much.

Until we piss off Anasta and Mini, all other recruitment is moot.. However lol.. I don't see a problem with this.. We get a big tall and fast Winger which we surely need and BJ plays in his natural position...

Go back and watch the last couple of games he threw some very good passes to put players into space, cretainly more than pearce or carney.
While he may not be the greatest and paid too much, but honestly the blind hatred is ridiculous.

Unless you didn't realize Anasta is a backrower who barely does half the work of most first grade starting backrowers. He is a large reason why our pack is dominated week in week out and why Jake has to make 60 tackles a week and then rendering himself useless in attack as dummy half. The fact he is chewing up a large amount of our salary cap is the final straw.. Until he and the cripple are moved on the rest is moot.
