If that is the case then the aggrieved babies can fuuck off right now. No player is bigger than the club and its Uncle Nick who puts a lot of his money propping up the players lifestyles and paying the bills.

Not mentioning us fans and members who put their hard earned supporting the club.

I dont believe for a minute the morale is as bad as u suggest but any resentment should be dealt with now.

Ok, I've misread this entire situation.
Why would we opt for a 35 year old v Pearce in his prime? Why would we buy another halfback at all.
We are transitioning to another half, a long term half.
Ok so why not buy a half like we did with Freddie?
We have our sights set on a young half who needs to improve.
      Ok so why Cronk?
Win a premiership while transitioning and we want this new half to learn from the best.

      Who is the new half?

Can you name me another professional sporting competition in the world where the players priority is playing with their mates? Do you think it happens in the NBA, NFL, EPL, La Liga or Serie A? If you want to play with your mates, you go play in a pub team. The main priority for teams in professional sporting competitions is success. The players will be upset for a couple days and that will be it. Not putting in will also cost players lots of money when they need to extend their own contracts. The amount of bs on this forums that is being put out against this move to sign Cronk is beyond any comprehension.

Given the talk of Pearce playing 5/8 I now really hope he moves on.

That way Keary can be re-signed and locked in as our long term 5/8 and Radley can nail down the utility spot on the bench.

If keeping Pearce costs us Keary in 12 months it'd be one of the all time great **** ups on our behalf.

I was not present at the time the untouchables left the boat.
I just like taking the piss.
I hate media exaggeraration more than any one I have'ntmet, , yet I'm sure some understand the ins and outs of modern "sport".?

MP may, or may not have said something along those lines, but he was not acting in a position that represented our club in any facet.
I am a huge supporter of any player who has the ability, drive and dedication to represent the only foundation club for over 200 games.

I worry about Robbo making right decision in this instance..

                          Pearce is a half, not a 5/8.

In fact he is the quintessential half.

He is half a halfback....i wished he was a full halfback.

                            Isn't that a quarter back?

Pearce is a better 5/8 option than Keary - Keary to the bench as super sub but not used as limited as Warson was and Cronk as half is the best option by far- don't know why people cannot see this - even Coach Robbo is starting to realise this- Hope he wont use backrowers as centres and an Injured Toops on the bench as well as eradicate the same error's from the same players /get them playing 80 minutes of intense footy and develop more players to NRL standard from the lower grades - that should be the plan for 2018 I suggest

Pearce to 5/8- Cronk as half and Keary as super sub is the best option - Robbo made plenty of mistakes with team selections - hearing his last interview when he said Pearce would play halves gives me hope he is starting to learn from him mistakes - Pearce and Cronk combo at half better than a Keary and Cronk one for sure and certain- anyone that disagrees with this needs their head read I suggest- maybe they have become comfortably numb - hello hello hello is their anybody in there :-)
