Well, maybe he will. Maybe at another club? Was that what R6 meant by Robbo being cryptic?

From the outset when it became clear we were chasing Cronk I've always thought Robinson might be leading to a game plan & structure where all 3 are on the park as halves...

What was the cryptic part? Where Robbo said they want Pearce to stay and play in the halves? That’s not cryptic it’s quite straightforward.

          Don't be a dick.

Who's better at taking on the line, Keary or Pearce?

Keary is the better option at 5/8 and it ain't even close.

He's a devastating ball runner that creates holes all around him if he isn't running through one himself.

Pearce on the other hand is a classic halfback.

Oh and why did Latrell make 18 line breaks? Might have something to do with who played 5/8.

Ok. R6, I am all for thinking outside the square but how would you see that working? Do you think it could? One in the middle to organise and one each side? One centre roaming either side and bobbing up outside a running half? Interesting to think about it. Ballsy if true.

So either one less forward or one less outside back and 3 little guys to get targeted in defence. Doubt it.

Agree. Pearce's diversity could add that extra dimension to our squad.......i.e. coming off the bench to
                relieve Friend &/or
play the traditional roving lock-forward type of role &/or
                cover for injuries

Pearce at 5/8 and Keary as super sub makes a lot of sense- a Craig Wing type of role - Robbo starting to think more about how the team should play is a positive- Keary wont get the dollars he wants for an extension in any case. Pearce must stay

Pearce has to play 5/8 with Keary on the bench as a super sub but not underutilised as Watson was

                          What!
You're talking to a bloke who got pulled apart for suggesting he could fill in at fullback when our union project betrayed us.

We don't pay overs on projects....................or bench options ....
Mr Pearce should do a lotta thinking rather than enjoying the veiw thiis summer................................

                          Pearce's "diversity".????

I could nominate 20 or 30 bench players who would suck up a hella lot less of the salary crap, and do the same job,.

Don't worry guys, I'm pretty sure Pearce won't be staying.

Yeh I mean there would obviously be compromise to fit 3 halves into one starting team.

But Robbo has form in this area and I think we have the players to execute it successfully.

I have no doubt Robbo & Taylor would be deep in discussion about all the possibilities of how they could make it work.

I believe the only way he stays is if he is promised a halves role, which Robinson is capable of doing unfortunately..
