For reasons yet to be analysed by anyone noteworthy, some of us have put a lot of stock in the fortunes of this club since before you were born.
I was signed up for life when Big Artie put his arm around me post game at the Sydney Sports Ground. I'm sure I ain't on me pat malone either.
There's a lot more people with a lot more important stakes in our immediate fortunes, than some over-paid spoilt halfback who has had more than a decade of ego stoking adulation.(not to mention the $$$).
Some of us actually pay to show our support.
I'd happily swap my current situation for your "dilemma".
Give us a break.
Do what's best for the goddamn team for once.

I think Mitch has earned the right to think things through. Remember Cronky has been an arch-rival for many years and perhaps a symbol of Mitch's Origin heartache. To have him come to the club and wear the number 7 might take a bit of getting used to.

I also think he'd be crazy to leave. The only credible commentator calling for him to leave is Peter Sterling and, on this occasion, Sterlo's wrong. Mitch should embrace the selflessness of his buddhism, and achieve the nirvana of playing in the team that he loves, stay and lead us to a premiership.

This is a huge call for Mitch, one that will define who he is.

I don't think so, I think he is entitled to leave if he wishes and that should not be held against him, nor should it if he stays. Whilst I am not a fan of him as a halfback, I think he has earnt the right to decide either way.
