    They remain opinions true.
But when our longheld beliefs are , seemingly, finally supported by those in power...................................its time to swallow labels.............I guess?

I take it as an insult being caled a fanBOY. Besides Pearce has never been one of my favourite players, but I do appreciate the efforts he has put in for the club I love. I also hate it when he has embarrased the club I love with his off-field behaviour.

Also, I have stated quite clearly several times on this forum, I believe there is no room for both Cronk and Pearce in the Roosters team.

I have never called the critical of Pearce posters disloyal or trolls. I have never argued they should not have a point of view or be allowed to voice their opinions on him. I have however argued that I find the continuous critiquing and abusive name calling of Pearce to be tiresome and boring, especially when we keep hearing the same comments over and over again to the point of obsession. But I have never said critics are not allowed to have an opinions on here or referred to them as trolls.

No it is not Eddie. You believe Pearce is over-rated and has never done anything good for our club. That's your point of view and you are entitled to give it. I have no problem with that. I believe Pearce has done a lot for our club. I also find him extremely frustrating and inconsistent as a player but have never doubted his efforts or loyalty to the club. I have alos found his at times terrible off-field antics a total embarrasment to our proud club. That does not make me a fanGIRL. It makes my opinion different to yours.

As they say club before player. But that does not mean we should be divided into Pearce bashers and Pearce fanboys. That is totally stupid and narrow minded and simplistic.

I think the fanboys may be out numbered.

Wish he'd hurry up and make up his mind.
If he doesn't, he might just have it made up for him!

100% committed to the Club, Coach and Team...or leave...
It's not that difficult a decision.

                Not 70% committed...100% or nothing.

It'll be Christmas soon, then the trials start.

I do think that some still over-rate him, but the number seems to be dwindling.
I have to pull you up on the other assumption.
I realise Pearce has some good attributes as a football player, and always gives his all on the field.
                    I've never stated otherwise.
At least I don't have to repeat myself in this post, in regards to whether his faults out-weigh all that..............as well as his paypacket.
I like to think I've been pretty clear about my opinion there.

Totally agree on the stupidity in dividing us supporters into two opposed camps that wanna fight to the death on this issue as well.
We leave that to our beloved politicians these days.

And you a "fanboy" ???? LOL at that.

                      I haven't.
Another reason he should stay, and play any position he's required/told to...to repay the Club for not ripping up his contract and booting him out last year.

Ever thought the club Want Pearce to leave so more available money to retain and buy? With Pearse and Nikorema gone there’s close to a million available.

With Pearce and Nikorema going this year and more the following year we just might be able to keep Cords, SST & Keary. SST in particular is on peanuts. Also, we may be able to buy some forward depth and same goes for the centres.

Pearce back from the US this week..."Fight or Flight" today's paper stated.

If he decides to break his contract and leave...we should not have to pay him one cent now or in the future.

You are kidding aren't you. The reason he might be leaving is due to a decision by the club of course they should pay the difference.
If you are a Pearce supporter then because of what he has given the club, if you are a Pearce hater then its because the club made the mistake of signing him.
If you are a realist then its because thats the way things work

Not if we play it smart.
                                Mitch can't complain I reckon.
He has been taking pay he hasn't exactly earned by all reports.*

                                * only going on the assumption that he has been our highest paid player over the last 5 years, yet has been far from our best in that time.
