Not sure but Roger Waters thought that Syd Barrett was hearing voices - not all good by the sounds of it and why they eased him out of Pink Floyd by not picking him up for a gig one night and permanently replacing him with David Gilmour and as they say the rest is history- Although Roger would write songs in reference to him(dark side of the moon/wish you were here albums etc) and make a movie based on his character- Pink in the film - The Wall and subsequent Album.

I actually think that King Salvo might be a reincarnation of another post that was formerly on here - Fred68 (I think that was his moniker). It was a while ago but I recognise the similarities in their posting style.

The King is a Chooks supporter I reckon, but his fascination and blind faith in all things Telegraph and/or Gould is disturbing ...

NC, ask King Salvo what his views are on Brian Smith. That way you will know if there's a chance he may be Fred68. I spent a lot of time debating with Fred over Smithy as our coach.

Yep that's what I just posted. Personally I don't think Salvo is Fred though myself, and if he's not I wonder what happened to Fred? Even though we used to debate about the merits of Smith as coach a LOT, I always thought he was good value on here and a good poster.

I recall he did - but he wasn't alone there Personally I believe Brian Smith did more good than harm. And his lasting legacy was that it was he who bought Robbo back to the Chooks.

I do remember Fred offering to buy me a season ticket when I refused to buy my own when Willie the Wanka was at the club, just so I would go to games. An offer I politely declined. It was better I abused him in the privacy of my own home.

Having thought it over I agree with you Mighty One - Salvo is not Fred68. Not sure who Salvo was in a previous incarnation, but I know his ramblings remind me of someone who used to post here. Mind you, I have been on the Chooks forums for a long time now, and it's easy to lose track of who is who/was who.
