Cordner hints at Pearce staying

Asked if Pearce’s possible exit could upset his teammates, Cordner said during Kangaroos camp on Wednesday: “I don’t think so.

“At the end of the day it’s Pearcey’s choice. He’s going away now to get away from everything and think about it.

“I’m here to support Pearcey and respect his decision whichever way he wants to go but at this stage it looks like he’ll be a Rooster.”
