  • Make the decision soon Pearce.

If he stays and then derails the season, part way through , being unhappy , wants to leave etc I will be very cranky. He cost us 2016 , I hope he doesn't stuff up 2018 being a sook.
    Get over it now , commit to play , and play anywhere the team needs you , 7 , 6 , 4 , 13 , 9 , Wyong.

Cronk will bring something to the club , not just on the field. I look forward to seeing how it goes. I was totally against signing him , but now it's done I'll be watching with interest.
We needed a decent front rower with an offload and some mongrel more.

    Agree 100 percent.

We have apparently made an offer to Junior Paulo.

He has already had 5 weeks off from when we were bundled out in that pathetic performance against the cowboys.

Is he really gone overseas for 3 weeks now? That will mean that its an 8 week break for him, basically 2 months. These poor professional sportspeople most of whom get paid a fortune but spend half their time drinking instead of looking after their bodies and then have a few months holidays.

          Agreed mate,it really is embarrassing..
He is on instagram in New York asking followers where the best bars are for him to visit lol
Meantime the Club starts pre season training next week
I do blame Robbo and no one else unfortunately,he is allowing it to happen..
I wonder if Bellamy would accept his players starting pre season late after such a massive collapse in the prelims?!?

Strange that Pearce is exempt from the start of pre-season training. What a long holiday. I should have been a footballer.

Cmon Guys, maybe he was holding out for one of the minnow World Cup nations to find some loophole and throw him a lifeline, none of them could be bothered

Geez there are some pricks on here. The bloke works his arse off every game and every training session and has literally bled out there on the field to make you miserable bastards happy for the next 7 days of your week. And you can't give him a few weeks rest to make a decision which will have a huge impact on his life. I'm starting to hope he does go elsewhere and kills it so at least he's just a bit appreciated and not used as a scapegoat for once.

So 5 weeks since we were knocked out and he needs another 3 whilst others are back, to decide whether he will play a lesser role on 800k or go elsewhere to stroke his ego, I am glad there are some pricks here that post things as they are, not just a bunch of fanboys, protecting their messiah

Has anyone thought that this may also be a smokescreen for the club? Maybe getting a contract for Pearce elsewhere will enable us to get another player from somewhere else and we are just waiting for all the dominoes to fall into place. Maybe Pearce has already asked for the release but the club is keeping it out of the press so all the machinations can be worked out behind the scenes without the glare of the media frenzy?

He isn’t taking a 3 week OS trip to make his decision. Why would the club allow that when all others (apart from rep players) return to training. Surely this was booked well in advance.

He is well paid to "work his arse off".

He is also well paid to be a professional athlete and look after his body yet he can't help himself.

I am not sure about you, but most people out in the real world "work their arse" off for many more weeks a year than he does. There are many people out there in the real world that work 7 days a week and some work over 12 hours a day to provide for their families. But let's not offend this player whose daddy is on the league commission that has helped put the back backwards in the last 5 years.

It's really annoying isn't it Yak? I bet if it was Keary in Pearce's position all the Keary FANBOYS, would not be labelling him a dummy spitting sook.
And no, I am not a Pearce fanboy or a Keary hater. Now that the decision has been made I believe Pearce is the one who must go. It was always Pearce and Keary or Cronk and Keary for me. So I'm not showing any Pearce favouritism. I'm just making an observation of the double standards on here.

It’s this sort of mentality that has allowed Pearce to get away with whatever he likes..
Hope it is finally coming to an end!
Also I welcome him to go and kill it at another Club, chances are though he never will unless he has a 5/8th carrying him as per normal..
