Yet we still lost 3 out of 4 GFs with Fittler at the helm ...

But wait, now I remember, that was Finch's fault wasn't it. The whipping boy before Mitch. In fact our No. 7's have been the scapegoats since Hastings Snr retired. Wonder if Cronk can break that cycle.
Supporting the RW&B, through good times and bad times.

The only comparisons there should be between Fittler and Pearce is that the played for the same club and that's it.. One conquered the world and the other.. well lol.

Fittler was running on bloody feet in 2003 and we were screwed by that B.S. try by Uate in 04.
        SUPER DRAGON!

....and that BS shepherd call against Mini where B Anasta read the play wrong.
.... and the BS El-Marsi double movement try (biggest double movement I've ever seen)

that 04 gf had more bad calls than any gf I can remember

Uncle Nick should refuse any release request
I'd make Cords sole captain next year. (Won't happen though caz uncle Nick loves Friend). But agree that he needs to talk up more and lay the law down at those times in games when our players start to clock off.

The players say that Pearce is their leader on the field anyway so making him captain probably won't change anything

I didn't compare Fittler to Pearce... you just did though. The irony, what a nightmare.

Just disagreeing with the notion that we wouldn't want a known pisshead as our captain when Freddy is one of the most celbrated captains in the history of our proud club.

If someone is perceived to be a great captain their past and what they do in their free time is quickly forgotten. Freddy and Mini are a testament to that.

Exactly, Fittler disgraced himself off the field as player and coach. But left us with many more memories on the field. Anyone of us could name numerous Fittler moments at club, and rep level, but because Pearce has barely any memorable moments he cops the abuse.

Well here's a beauty, a mate calls and said a very reliable bullchocks source told him today that When Pearce returns he will ask for a release to join Bullchocks in a player swap deal.... Or something like that is on the table or will be... I'd take that if we swap for klemmer... If its true. Go the scribes more fodder for Lurker coming.

Finch was absolutely terrible by his own admission

I'd gladly take Klemmer or Josh Jackson ...but can't see Bulldogs letting either go.
Lurker is to busy trying to tee up Cordner with the Titans.

Are Pearce and Foran still best mates? Probably the only reason he would go to the dogs.

klemmer would be the only valuable signing from them, we already have a josh Jackson type of player.

Nightmare indeed. Of the worst kind.

Some players can behave appallingly but if they produce the goods on the field they are just rogue larrikins and all is forgiven.
