What’s with the anti-Keary sentiment. He was close to our best player last year. He was the second best 5/8th in the comp. He’s a wonderful attacking ball running no 6.

fark Moses. Who gives a fark about Moses and him throwing a dummy to us. You guys are trying to rationalise keeping Pearce. I like Pearce but now we have Cronk so bad friggin luck. Keeping Keary is a no brainer though, Pearce and Cronk in the halves would be a nightmare.

What would Pearce add at 6 that Cronk could not do at 7. Pearce would be a ball distributer at most. Yep catch and pass and that’s it.

How anyone could contemplate a Cronk/Pearce halves partnership is beyond me..
We would be going back to the Pearce/Anasta days with bombs away being our only attacking option!

He plays half back at Parra & would be behind Cleary & Pearce for that position at SOO, if your thinking 5/8 I think then I think Maloney, Moylan & even Pearce would be ahead of him. If Cleary is half then there is no way Moses will be 5/8.

Whether I think who should be the NSW 5/8th is not the issue. If Freddy is coach then Moses has the rails run for 5/8th. He either has to be injured or lose form to miss out.

NSW will not go with 2 rookies (Cleary & Moses) in the halves. Moses may get a utility spot but I think there will be concerns about his defence at SOO level.
So Pearce would play half with Maloney at 5/8 kicking goals.

Cleary & Maloney would be ahead of him on the pecking order IMO even if Freddy is the coach. As I said he might get a bench spot as a utility.

Moses will be NSW SOO 5/8 and can play both half spots - big loss when he reneged on the Roosters contract as we got a second pick in Keary - first half of season good- second half not so especially the finals like other players - again no great loss if he leaves for much bigger money he has on the table from the Warriors - they be daft to pick Green at 30 over Keary 25 but the Warriors have been a basket case since most of their ARL/NRL existence
