I am just waiting on my source to confirm this news, although they mentioned there might be a chance Burgess has not signed. I was originally told he signed but I will keep you posted. Although I can confirm Burgess is in Sydney so there might be some truth to come out of this, one way or another.

I reckon the fact that his profile has been deleted from the Roosters website is as much confirmation as you'll get short term.

The Club don't want to give the faithful too much info, they may be able to make a balanced assessment of the playing roster if that happens.

And god forbid that should happen.
