You don't rate Crichton R6? When I say we'll have a whole new team I obviously don't mean literally. A new fullback and half-back are huge changes for a start even though it's only two positions. Crichton to replace Guearra will give us more potency in the forwards. Those three players alone will give us the feel of a whole new team. We could also move SST to prop.
I also don't want to lose Maubs as he is one of my faves and has been for a long time.

Every single supporter at any club would want Crichton if they watch football.

I agree and he grew up in the Eastern Suburbs too as far as I'm aware so surely he's more RWB than those horrible colours of myrtle and whatever it is.

I definitely rate Crichton, the appeal of a brand new team doesn't excite me though.

Happy to see us sign Crichton but then I'd really like us to lock up the rest of the talent we already have in the squad.

Young is part of the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney??? Although in your defence the Cherrypickers colours are red white and blue

Well there you go! But he was schooled (at least in the senior years) in the eastern suburbs right? Or have I got that wrong too?

Yeah he went to Boarding School down there. His dad was a gun rugby player so don't know whether he played much league as a young guy. Mum and dad sold up at Young and I think now have a farm around Oberon so they can be closer to Sydney

I went to school with his dad. Australian Schoolboys Rugby hooker but no league.Tough as nails with an identical build to his son (and the grandfather is a block too). Top bloke. Real salt of the earth and a very good family.

Also, they spend a lot of time in Sydney. They have a great butcher shop in Double Bay.

As I have said before, I will be surprised if the kid isn't a rooster in 2019 and I won't be surprised if he is one next year.

                    Go Easts.

I can't see the vermin letting him go for 2018, there is no way they help us out.

You never know. They could have a cap squeeze on or they may want some other player. Also, there is the problem of having a player there that doesn't want to be there.

It was interesting to see Richo say a few weeks back they wouldn't release him. That tends to indicate firstly that they have lost him and secondly he wants a release.

They have a very average roster I don’t think they could possibly have a cap squeeze.

which is why they'll take Fergo

Doubtful we can let Fergo go now that Gordon has officially gone. Lack of depth in the three-quarters really cost us this year. A lot depends of whether Manu learns how to tackle in the off-season. Judging by Robbo's selections in the final few games this year, Manu is probably a long way off first grade.
