A mediocre player at least 5 years past his best who, like Phil Graham, would make first grade at very few NRL clubs

    woo hoo
    Nothing like delusions of adequacy.

I agree. He is of the old school...maybe not as mobile as some but more experienced and reliable.
Needs to ignore invitations to be penalised.

Good news. We will need his experience to bring along Tasi, Kennedy and Mose. Without him our front row would be way too short on experience.

He will always be a player that polarises fans opinions, but he has done a fine job this year and in some games his offloads have helped our attack.

ryles is a frustration. take the recent tigers game. ryles killed it for the first 20 minutes, made big yards and a few offloads. he then gave up 100 metres in penalty kicks for his slow and lazy retreats back to marker.

Jason Ryles, Andrew Ryan, Nathan Hindmarsh, Matt Utai
Absolute respect for quality player who have had great careers, awesome in some cases, hopefully all retire at the end of 2011, so that we can remember them for not playing 1 year too many.
