    Souffs?

I just threw up in my mouth.

I wish them nothing but misery.

Did Gallen want Pearce to go to Manly?

If I were the Knights I would have
          1. Ponga
          6. Lamb
          7. Pearce
          9. Watson.

I assume this was said with a huge dose of sarcasm.

I loved hearing Gallen have a big sook about Pearce joining the Knights. He's possibly my most dislike player.

I'm a huge Rooster fan and i want us to win - and there are teams and players i really fkn don't like that i love to see lose.

But i still like the game of league as a spectacle.

I'm not one of the those people who lose total interest in the game once their team is out of contention.

For example, i love watching Thurston play - he's an absolute genius in attack and converts the ball more sweetly than anyone i've ever seen. Doesn't make me less of a Rooster for acknowledging talents from other teams.
Totally agree. I love the game of rugby league and have done since I was a young'un. Yes the Roosters are my team first and foremost, but I will watch most games during the season if I have the opportunity, purely because I enjoy watching the game.

There are players and teams I don't like to succeed, and players and teams I do. Gutted that both the Vermin and Peptide Kings have won GFs recently, but loved watching NQ steal victory from defeat in 2015 when the Showponies choked and Fat Hodgo retired as a loser.

I would like to see Newcastle move up the ladder in 2018, as they deserve some good luck after the way Tinkler and Bennett shafted them. And the fact they have so many ex-Chooks makes them easy for me to like - I mean even Moga started off with us.

In the end each to their own - but by not watching anything other than Chooks games you are missing out on some great games of footy.
Supporting the RW&B, through good times and bad times.

I watch other games of footy and while I don't mind Newcastle and prefer them to teams I hate. I really couldn't give a rats arse about them but will watch some of their games with interest due to the ex Roosters they have. But whether they win or lose those games I don't really care unless their is an upside to the game for the Chooks. Eg Beating Broncos, Souffs, Drugcheats, Chip Thiefs and Drizzle. Or beating a team to help up finish higher up the ladder.

It's Roosters first and foremost and no other team. This second team shit some are on about is not my sort of thing

At the risk of sparking off a bunch of touchy tossers (again), I'll proudly say that the Knights will be my "second team". Does this mean it's close? No - it's Roosters first and daylight second, but I will enjoy the spectacle of watching so many Chooks old boys run around.

                        P.S.
Given I was a country boy before Canberra and Newcastle entered the competition, it was a near thing, If I were born a decade later I reckon I'd be a Knights fan anyway.
My point: Age and geography have more to do with picking a team just about anything else IMO. I've had to fight had to stem the Sharks love from my son - job done so far, he hates 'em. There was a time though.....
