  • We have dismantled a good team , why ?

We have let , Pearce , Guerra , Watson , Evans and now Gordon go.

We had a good team , all we needed was to add Teddy to the mix and get the coach stand back and have a look at the absolutely ridiculous selection mistakes and stupid bench decisions , or lack of bench use.

I cant stand to watch this , I'll eat humble pie if we have a great season next year , but it's not what I would have done.
Trent Robinson is a great guy , but at times his coaching decisions have made no sense , and have just been plain WRONG.

Sorry for the rant , just not seeing the plan.

We are replacing most of them with better players.

Because that "good team" has failed to deliver a premiership since 2013....I can see the plan which hopefully is to change from a team that continually makes the same stupid mistakes.

Because we wanted a great team. Watson left of his own accord, because he wanted a starting spot. Keary is a better player. Gordon has now leeft because he wanted to go home, we didn't want to lose him. The others were considered to be under performing or there was simply a better player available. That's not "dismantling a good team", it's improving the roster, which is what a club is supposed to do.

If you can't see that Teddy, Cronk, and possibly Crichton will greatly increase our chances of winning a premiership, then I can't help you.

Only Watson was worth keeping. Guerra had more average games than good in the last couple of years. Evans couldn’t make the 17. SKD can’t catch, we replaced Pearce with the best and we signed the best young fullback. I’m happy.

It’s funny, but I don’t feel that way. It’s only 3-4 new players. We still have Boyd, Jared, Friend, Latrell, SST and heaps of other dominant players.

I reckon that Pearce has been on the outer since the dog rooting incident. We just had no one to replace him with until now. Don’t believe all the “We want Mitchell to stay bullshit.”

I hope so, cause that would mean the players are serious about winning.

If you take a line through the changes at the other 15 clubs, we have minimal changes. Every club has to adapt, it's just the norm these days. It depends who adjusts the quicker with the talent they have at their disposal.

Initially, I wasn't a fan of Cronk coming for the sake of disharmony, but as Cronk so rightly said, if you're not selfless. And what he may teach the likes of Lam and many other youngsters could be priceless.
"Do you expect me to talk"? "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die".

The simple answer is that they wanted to build a great team - and one that will win a premiership.
