Now is the time to start BUYING PLAYERS !
All where doing is losing players. We need to hurry otherwise no-one will be left to buy.
TCC i have to pull you up on this.
we have to buy players do we??? What positions, what players?
it's easy to put up a comment like we need to start buying players, have a reason, have some names, not just we need to buy now or they will not be avaliable.

At a football club, there’s a holy trinity – the players, the manager and the supporters. Directors don’t come into it. They are only there to sign the cheques.

The fireworks at the Easter show are making more noise than the crowd tonight
not true necessarily.
The first thing they need to do, is develop a decent structure and game plan with a bit of impact.
Do that and I think you will find most of the players will be playing a lot differently and we would be alot happier.
The Internet is a place for posting silly things
Try and be serious and you will look stupid

Buy who ??
Whose available on the market that we need and would positively add to our team ?
Part of the reason for the mess we're in is that in the past we buy players (not because we really need them) just because they're available e.g. We missed out on Asotasi a few years ago and then went out and bought Ashley Harrison ..when we had a plethora of back rowers: in other words it was a 'panic buy'
Did we really need Mason when he became available ? So again we picked up another player in a position we didn't really need to fill, and look at the problems it's causing now in squeezing out others.
Our only purchases for now would seem to be youngens who hopefully will develope into quality first graders down the track. It wont turn things around straight but hopefully it will in a few years. In the meantime if a top quality player came onto the market that would fill a position that we need i.e. a centre, then yeah make a play for him, otherwise we shouldn't just go out and buy someone merely becasue they're on the market.
Once we re-sign Anthony Cherrington, Nate Myles and Shane Shackleton, we will have enough forwards to last us for a few years, regardless of whether O'Meley and Mason stay.

Boyd Cordner (backrow)

Setaimata Sa (backrow)
Mitchell Aubusson (backrow)
Tom Symonds (backrow)
Nick Kouparitsas (backrow)
Mose Masoe (prop)
Rohan Ahern (backrow)
All of them are relatively young and tremendously talented (Nick K I'm not convinced on however), and add Cherrington as another young blockbusting forward, then Shackleton and Myles in there as the pack leaders they are developing into this year, and we will have ourselves one hell of a forward pack. Therefore we should not be chasing any other forwards.
Our backline is the issue - David Williams is the only good outside back on the market that has lived up the the standards of the NRL. There are some talented kids in the u20's such as Luke Towers and Anthony Gelling from our own team, as well as Dugan, Low and Vidot (Raiders), Locke, Tupou and Likiliki (Warriors), Towney and Mullany (Tigers), Linnett and Vickery (Dragons), Jerome and Tomane (Storm)...all kids from the u20's who are consistent linebreakers and tryscorers. Those are the sort of players we should be looking at if we can't snare Wolfman, simply because those are positions where we have little depth in.

roosters should put everything into the wolfman. SKD and the wolfman on the wings looks good to me
All the other Dragons backs are re-signed. Cooper, Scott, Morris, Nightingale. Whare and Linnett are the regular NYC centres, and Stanley is apparently on the outer with the club.
