When I caught up with Gibson, he was playing for a second division English club called Runcorn after an ugly falling out with rivals, Springfield Borough, whom he accused of unpaid wages. As I booked a local video-crew, he asked me to follow him to the match where he played against his old club – and tipped me off that he would try to punch his former coach as he left the field at fulltime and headed towards the dressing room. The punch – with his good arm – provided a bizarre yet entertaining twist to my report for SBS"
