I read an article today wherr Pearce admitted they told him nice and early in the process that they were going after Cronk and he was given time/space to think about it. He was happy with how things turned out and seemed really positive about it all.

IMO they woulda consulted the senior playing group and had their approval. It’s no coincidence that key players are now locking in their extensions pre-season.

These guys are competitors before anything else. NOBODY is gonna willingly quit a team with Teddy, Cronk, Cordner, Friend, Napa...etc in it. NOBODY. On paper a spot in the Roosters 18 for 2018 is the single best shot at a premiership that you can get. 2019 only looks better with Crichton signing on.
