Seems pretty clear to me. This imposter has never given us anything but a good old stir.

        Neither was RTS & Pearce.
I personally wouldnt think the Roosters would let him go but if they think Crighton & say Porter are a better balance & buy another big name front rower then Cordner could be let go.

They went because, basically, we didn't want them.

That isn't the case with Cordner.

PS. By the time we worked out we actually did want Roger (as a fullback) the horse had bolted down the career black hole known as the Worriers.

I am more worried that if Cordner did go to the knights, that would be the end of his career.
Two reasons for this, one it it probably means his injuries are not going to get any better and two he would end up on the social scene and his RL would suffer

Not at all.. I'm am saying that Boyd and his brother Dane have both been offered a very lucrative deal to join Newcastle... And yes Boyd would be silly to take it up at this point but a year in RL is very very very very very long time and contracts mean SFA..

.... And roger was promised the fullback spot and mini to wing. Which didn't happen... He decided then to go.

I like to blame Mini as much as the next guy but the fact is he stays if (a) they offer him fullback money or (b) Tomkins doesn't shit himself and realise he isn't NRL standard after reading his press all those years.

I don't think he'll play 10 consecutive games again for the rest of his career.

So long as he can play roughly 75% of regular season games, not get wrecked in Origin and then be fit for finals footy then he's still an absolutely integral part of the team.

So if he had been offered the fullback spot and the reported $450k he would of stayed, and ignored the $800k the warriors gave him?

Big money is offered, and players leave. Watson has gone to knights to play the same role he had at the chooks for next year, just with an extra 400k in the bank.

The point is that there is no big offer before Tomkins shit himself. They should have wrapped him up months before that.

Lol....The poor little soul couldn't wait a season for Mini who was our Captain and Club Legend to move on and then the spot would have been his by default, it wouldn't have hurt his career one iota and in hindsight would have been the smart move instead of heading to that tragedy of a club.

It was always going to be a tragedy going to Warriors everyone saw that coming except Roger and his manager...Big head syndrome too wanted to be a superstar in his homeland ...I understand that. Still in a shithouse season he was by far their best player Id have him back any day .
You have to remember he was promised the full back gig for 2014 as far as I know he has a right to be shitty.Still we shouldve wrapped him up on good pay after 2013 long term.its done and dusted now.
