You have to remember he was promised the full back gig for 2014 as far as I know he has a right to be shitty.Still we shouldve wrapped him up on good pay after 2013 long term.its done and dusted now.
And it matters not one whit now anyway.

Gimme Lattrell and Teddy ahead of RTS any day.

      Nice guy though.

Agreed - teams change like that. At the time I reckon Uncle Nick saw Latrell coming through the ranks and had spoken to Teddy about one day becoming a Rooster. RTS wouldn’t have turned around our fortunes in 2016...

Not sure I agree on that first bit. But I am happy to be proven wrong.

Well Teddy in a shit team has been amazing.

Roger in a shit team has been pretty good but not great.

Lets compare them after Teddy’s had a full season with us.

Don't get me wrong. I am very excited about Teddy. But the thought of where Roger could have gotten to by now with us had he not gone is frightening.

RTS and Teddy comparisons make for interesting musings. RTS has his footwork, Teddy his tackle-breaking, and Teddy may be slightly quicker - tough to separate them. Very much looking forward to seeing how the combination of Cronk, Keary, and Tedesco work together and what role Friend will play. Exciting season ahead.

I am just keen to see Tedseco have a full season full stop.
The guy gets injured more than Cordner. But I still think he is an amazing player

Tedesco played in every game in the 2015 season,

played 17 matches for tigers plus 1 origin in 2016(got his jaw broken by Ryan James so missed some matches)

in 2017 played 21 games for tigers plus 3 origin games.

so in the last 3 yrs he has averaged over 20 games per year and that with no finals footy for tigers.

                    hopefully the trend continues.

I think the main difference for me is defence.

Teddy is a great defender as he showed in Origin.

Roger however just flat out isn't interested in tackling.

lets be honest, none of us were happy to see rts go, his career has stalled at the warriors and the whole nrl looks at him and shake their head, i think teddy is slightly better but gee after 15 it woulda been interesting to see what s could achieve with us...its a real shame ,i doubt hell make the all blacks, and i uspect hell forever be remembered as a good nz fullback who had 1 great season ...what a waste

When it comes down to games played and clubs success.. You can do the math.. Simple really!! Injuries shared amount to the equation..

Teddy is a block buster.. nothing more nothing less.. His best footy is still in front of him unlike RTS who is already looking for a way out!

RTS Mum has far too much to say when it comes to his future.. Better result for Roosters long term..

As good as Roger was in 2015, I never saw him take a game by the scruff of the neck. The loss against Cronulla in 2015 was probably the closest I saw him to winning a game for us on his own. Teddy was able to do that on some occasions for a dud outfit like the Tigers over the past 3 or 4 years.

Roger's stats were amazing but Teddy seems to come up with more crucial plays at crucial times. Case in point SOO 1 2017 and his game against us late in the season last year. Roger was great but has never really dominated games with big moments, as much as people say Roger is a brilliant footballer and I am not arguing that he is not brilliant. I guess what I am trying to say is he would quite often brain it when we were dominating.

However a better comparison can be made at the end of this year after Teddy plays for a strong team for a change.
