Agree, I remember getting a SMS from someone in the know after the rooster fan day in December 2014 saying she (assuming Roger was spitting it also) spat the dummy and was threatening Roger would walk unless he was made fullback. The context to the story was at the time there was some doubts in the club at that time that Roger would play fullback in 2015 or be a long term fullback.

Probably the reason at that time we didnt have him stitched up long term was there some doubts within the club as to whether he was the long term fullback until we saw him play for some time in the position. When Tomkins 4 months later shat himself the rest is history. It was a monumental cock-up at the time but I thought the Maloney release was worse.

I don't think he'll play 10 consecutive games again for the rest of his career.

So long as he can play roughly 75% of regular season games, not get wrecked in Origin and then be fit for finals footy then he's still an absolutely integral part of the team.

Aaron Woods and Teddy both had the same problems with their knees. Both had stem cell injections.
Both play every game every year now.
I remember the media saying Woods would retire by the age of 25.

Manning retired two years ago, he also never commented if it was the stem cell surgery that helped, or the operation he had to have in the same area not long after.

Teddy is about 15 yrs younger than manning was, so surely youth is on his side.

I think Cords will recover very well & again play top footy but then get injured again with another body part. Cords does the work JWH & Napa should do. He will take the first hit up when they are under the pump trying to get out of their own 20 or he will take the first hit up from a tap & get hit by 3 big opposition forwards. He is farking dynamite. By far the Chooks best forward but gets injured because he has such a go..
