Yeah he got a big dont argue ogf latrell. I dont think he should be judged on that 1 moment. He scores trys no other player in the nrl would be capable of . Freddy has come out and said hes putting more emphasis on scoring points then defending them wich is a great thing to hear. I would give latrell and the jet a jumper if there form warrants it when the time comes. Why wait

Would help if he didn’t get done DUI, assault women and constantly need cover-up stories. IMO more than likely th selectors know what he’s done behind the scenes and don’t want that kinda shyte in camp.

Also, his defence is rubbish. Latrell’s fend in the finals was good but FFS... play it in slo-mo and you’ll realise that Roberts was a complete flog.

I noticed him in a couple of games when he really fired and thought the same.

But since those there were many more games where he went missing or was just plain awful than games where he did well.
I can remember several times thinking "wow Brisbane really need Roberts now, pity he isn't playing" then realised he was on the field

Unfortunately it seems you can't coach Roberts to tackle all that well either. Added to that, he floats in and out of games, which will be found out very quickly in Origin.

I'm yet to see Roberts put in an 80 minute performance. Yes there are bursts of brilliance but there's a lot of less than average footy in between. And the Blues already have a fair share of those types of players in their ranks, which is possibly why they struggle to win a series.

As for Latrell - it's a shame he missed the camp as it would have been ideal for him to take part in it and spend time with a crop of other talented young players. The kid has plenty of talent, but the jury is out as to whether he has the drive and commitment to make the most of it.

I think Tom t is the prototype centre. No doubt a great fullback and just a great player that you want to have his hands on the ball as much as possible at club level. But at origin level with talent inside and out, I think he would absolutely brain teams at centre. The perfect body shape and very strong with good footwork. He’d be like defending against Inglis at centre on your try line.

Lattrell is the closest player i have seen to inglis. We will see how turbo tom goes against latrell this year and im tipping latrell will do a jimmy the jet on him and run right over the top of him sending turbo straight to the garage for a tune up lol

Be interesting to see if your felt the same way about the players if they played for the opposite side. Everyone recognises the talent in latrell. But at this stage of their career I think Tom t has shown more in first grade to suggest he will have a long term career at the top.

Tom is on his way to been a great footballer.
Roberts is a match winner gives spark to a lack luster brisbane side ..was signing with chooks until bennet stepped i9n and did his usual -its why we got rid of Jennings because they thought Roberts was in the bag!
As for Latrell he could be one of the greats ..an excitement machine -its up to him .
Why bag him for a few mistakes?
You know who made the most errors and mistakes in the NRL last YEar ???? Farken Tom Trob ...yey he is on pedalstal and Laterell is on the scrap heap already.
Dont be surprised if a certain club has offered him everything under the sun .........get the picture .There are people getting in his head.

Latrell was in very high spirits at training today and when everyone had left he remained behind to goalkick with Fitzy and Taylor.

I wouldn't swap Latrell for Tom Turdhead and that includes with the questions about whether he will make it because if he does he will be ten times the player.

I hear ya, but Trebojevic is class man. He matches the hype imo.

Can't stand him. He lost me totally when he and that grub Lyon patted Latrell on the head Hoppa-style after a mistake. He and his fat-head brother are also the first to abuse the refs like Toovey and Field.
