I do think it's an outrageous statement, he's still got so much to prove before anyone can substantiate that claim. For starters QLD rotated with 3 different 5/8 options in the 2017 series and he performed the worst.

My reference to the 15 gf was about how good milford played. Jt got the clive Churchill medal in that game . If broncos won im sure milf gets it. Its only a matter of opinion anyway but im sure craig bellamy know a thnig or 2 about footballers

probably true. Milford can break and game open and win games on his own like few others can. But geez Munster was fantastic in origin and can probably play just about any position on the field. They’re both guns.

I'd take Munster over Milford any day of the week as he is more versatile. He has proven at all levels that he can kill it in any position.

Munster and Morgan will probably be the QLD/Aust halves for the foreseeable future meaning that unfortunately NSW will more than likely still be runners up more often than not.

Bugger me dead Milford isn't even in the 10 best footballers in the game.
Based on consistency and being able to defend as well as attack he isn't close.
In my opinion anyone that thinks he is one of the current greats simple thinks what Ch9 tells them to

righto. Not sure why people can’t have a discussion without resorting to..“my opinion is x and anyone who thinks otherwise is y”. Milf is a very good player. IMO he isn’t suited to Brisbane’s style of play. He was more useful in Canberra’s attacking system. Regardless, majority of the comments have said he was best on ground in a losing grand final. And I’d have him in the top few players in the game at his age. But yes, not in the top ten in the game.

Will be interested in how Munster performs at club level without Cronk, smith and slater. Also, if milf had smith and Cronk inside him I think he would look like an absolute superstar as game managing is obviously not his strong suit. Along with teddy the milf would be one of the most destructive ball runners in the game, regardless of age. I don’t need, nor do I even watch, channel 9 to tell me that.

Michael Morgan is better than both & he's the more versatile.

Based on 2017 I think Morgan will be Qld's long term number 7. Ashley Taylor's probably the other contender but still too raw at the moment.

I posted that because its what I believe. Doesn't mean its fact its just my opinion. As a footballer I think he is reasonable, when he is on he is very good, but he is not on more than on at Brisbane. He isn't necessarily a liability, but certainly not great when not on. The mention of the Ch9 bit is because I think there are many people (not just here) that seem to regurgitate the dribble regarding myths that the Ch9 commentators seem to want to build up.

i just don’t think Bennett utilises his skill set very well. Brisbane play very structured football. I wouldn’t mind seeing Boyd play attack at 5/8 and milf attack from fullback. But we’ll see what happens when jack bird gets there next year anyway. I also think he’ll struggle to shine in that team.

Munster is better them all because he has mongel in him & he will hurt the opposition.

Will we see a dominant Michael Morgan now that Thurston is back ?

just saw the photo of Milford in the Telegraph today, looks like he has been on the BJ Leilua Samoan world cup diet, he deadset had a spare tire round his waist.

His role will undoubtedly be refined but his talent is now unquestionable. Qld don't have another half with organising skills that come close to Morgan now that Cronk has retired.

DCE, Milford, Hunt, Munster & Ash Taylor (at this stage of his career) are all more creators than organisers.

It'll be even more important with Smith's impending retirement from Origin not far away to get the halves combination correctly balanced.

Saw it too but gussing one can’t read into it too much. Probably just a really bad angle. I don’t rate the guy but am pretty sure he’s super fit, as he plays 80 minutes of NRL every week.

His talent was always unquestionable. But, he was so dominant last year in thurstons absence. No way he gets his hand on anywhere near as much ball this year.

As for qld, Munster virtually guaranteed himself the 6 jersey imo. I’d add Corey Norman to that list of yours as well and would probably add that hunt would be more of the organising half that you speak of. A lot if great ball runners there. But they will struggle big time once smith goes.
