  • Broncos player accused of slapping and manhandling a woman.

seems like the relatively quiet and atrocity free NRL offseason streak has come to an end, with breaking news about a Broncos player accused of slapping and manhandling a woman.

Hmmm......i wonder if it's Matthew Chalet / Cottage / Hostel / insert synonym for L_____ here

            He's definitely got the history.

And i'm not convinced one bit that he can redeem himself..

Yep and then he almost jumped off the gap after being subjected to media harassment. That worked really well...

As much as I hate Brisbane, if my mail is right this is a significant player (reserve as in bench forward, not QLD Cup), but not a hated player (so no, not Roberts, Boyd, Milford, Thaiday and all the other flogs I wanna see sacked).

I think his identity should be protected and his mental health should be supported through this. If he did it then lock him up and teach him a lesson like Tetevano had to learn. Also, don’t frigging protect him like you did to Roberts, QLD! If he didn’t... then put him back on the footy field and move on.

Unfortunately in these situations it’s difficult to keep a lid on it because, like Carter, this guy will be a notable omission if simply ‘not selected... no comment on that one’. He played a big role during their finals campaign and if I were a Broncos fan, I’d want him in my 17.

Of course the Broncos are owned by News LTD so this wont make a mention in the papers.
If it was a Sydney club, FRONT PAGE NEWS!!!!!!!!

Yes this was very much swept under the carpet. I heard about this at the time from someone involved and by all accounts he was definately guilty. The Roosters did well to conceal it. But the dirty bastard should have gone down for what he did.

If guilty he should be named and shamed. If guilty.
