I went with my son. All the players were there except for Cronk. They signed a squillion autographs, were in heaps of selfies and all seemed very happy and relaxed. Lots of laughing and talking with the fans.

Given the lines of people wanting signatures I didn’t speak to anyone other than saying g’day and thank you.

My mate spoke to Lindsay Collins after the event (just by chance) and not that it's really news, but hes aiming for a bench spot round 1, and apparently seemed fairly confident.

Was announced that CC had a prior engagement. I met him after training with my kids a few days ago and he was very friendly and engaging with the boys. Being the ultimate professional that he supposedly is, I think he would have been there if he could.

Was a good event today. It’s for kids really. So plenty of them around, plus the dero supporters with no life. The venue wasn’t great cause parking was difficult with Clovelly beach within sight. Hopefully back to Waverley Bowlo next time.

Think he may have been at finch’s wedding. But he should of gone to the roosters BBQ instead and signed some hats for the chookpen members.
