    Yeah, I hear ya.
Thats why I can't bag Fergo, for all his dropped balls in space with the try line open and in sight, he probably makes our toughest runs out of trouble, and his hit up metres reflect that.
    ..it’ll be interesting to see

in searching for those classic AG images of him looking gassed after 10mins i also came across this gem.

Has AG had some work done since those days! He looks more like a fat shillo here than the Fabio AG we know today.

fergo is a keeper he puts his body on the line every week for the roosters. As a supporter what more can you ask for

Anyway he is gone so not our concern. Good luck to him. It used to piss me off to no end that body language and give me the impression he was unfit, lazy and unmotivated but then i thought of paying more attention to him and what he does outside of those moments in the game where he appears like this and i noticed the effort was there, not just with the ball on in defence but off the ball as well so i in my own mind cut him some slack last year as i found it was more a perception/image thing than a reality.
and that's my point...Everyone's different. We all show emotions differently. If he had problems with fitness I doubt Robbo would have put him starting the team which I believe he did most times.

With all the backs we have at the moment and like I said at the end of last year, I think Fergo will be put into lock or the back row when needed. He's got the size but he needs to tidy up his defence. That's a bolter of a prediction from me.

The backrow is not really the best place for the worst defender and one of the most injury prone players in the team.

neither is the wing. He's defending on the side line is a guarantee 4 points for whomever dares....as for injury prone? He hasn't been injured that much in fact he did take some big hits last season that would have floored most yet he kept on playing...

How funny is that Guerra head shot upthread? He looks like that kid in primary school who was just rough.

The Guerra hate astounds me. Here’s a guy who debuted with us (as far as I’m aware), and with the exception of 1 season was a great squadman who got to the elite level in rl for a period of time. The year after his dud season he lifted in all facets of his game to be one of the better players in the squad of 22.

I wish we kept him, and I’m sure for the right price Robbo would have too.
Making Steve Naughton look like Vince Mellars...

We have a tonne of back rowers and quite a few up and comers in our squad who play backrow so why would we do that?

Fergo is winger and sometimes can fill in at the centres. His defence is dodgy but so are a lot of wingers....

Well would you like me to make a prediction that Keary will be in our halves? Yes It is a bold prediction...But we also had Watson playing lock at times and he's tiny. I don't think it's that impossible considering Fergo is tall and can take some hits and has some speed. Schubert started in the backs and ended up in the second row and if I'm not mistaken so did Ricketson... BTW Fergo has to play out of his skin this year as he's only on a 1 year contract. I'm sure that he'll take whatever is offered especially if the other backs are showing him up. But really Mickey, it's not left field, it's right field where fergo plays...

Who are all these backs you refer to Roc? I actually thought we were pretty short on depth in the backs. And if any of our backs were going to move to the back row surely it would be Aubo and Matterson, freeing up Toops from the bench!

OK I made a little suggestion NOT to be taken to heart but to answer your question, well we actually have 5 Toupo, Mitchell, Manu Fergo and Robinson. 5 into 4 wont go. As for Maubbs and Matterson, who knows where they'll be...

Hopefully not in the centres that’s for sure. I see what you mean about 5 into 4. I assume Robinson is supposed to be the depth player.

I think he'll put pressure on Fergo and if Manu fixes his defense he's the future in the centre which is why my 'EXTRA' wild prediction that if needed, Fergo might be put there...BUT only if something happens like the current guys all get injured or get in trouble at some nightclub and that.
