He is not a wing or centre and repeatedly gets outplayed but once he fills out will be a great backrower imo.

Honestly I don't know what BJ has done to guarantee himself a starting spot every week he has potential but should be a fringe grader at best. He needs some time back in the lower grades. It's obvious Smith wants to use him as a Akuila Uate and now Junior sau replicate but he just doesn't have that skill set. I reckon he could become a good Rooster if he's dropped for a while I mean Perrett was in and out of first grade for years during his starting years and now he's come good.

This is the problem with bringing these "kids" straight in from NYC they NEED to do there time at Newtown to learn their trade and toughen up to the weekly rigors of FG. Expectation and reality can be miles apart and FG is not the place to be testing theories.

Today was the worst game i have seen him play in grade.

Last week, he had a good game.

He'll come good. Just needs time to sort out his defensive reads and become comfortable with his outside man.

He had Carney defending inside of him today, which made it even worse.

If SKD can survive 5 years in grade after the garbage that he dished out over the years ( .. and continues to give), i'm sure BJ can be afforded one season.

Most teams are not silly enough to blood players until they are ready or seriously talented i.e Inglis or Hayne.

However any bronco will do eg. Jharal yow yeh, Jack Reed, Geard beale etc etc.

Yow Yeh has played 50+ Games for Broncos and Beale has played 30+ BJ has played less than 20. Jack Reed is also 3 years older than BJ mate
