Rocky BJ will never be the wing/centre that Yow Yeh is no matter how many games he plays there.
But I would love to see him after half a year in Newtown playing in the back row. He is not ready for first grade and needs to bulk up.

I think everyone agrees he needs time. But first grade is not the place to give him his time if he is not ready. He has had 37 games and still needs time. He needs time at Newtown. He is out of his depth and out of position in the backline and found out every week. He is not a wing/centre and never will be. He needs to learn the trade of being a backrower at Newtown.

Agree. BJ is there by default at the moment because of injuries. I lost faith in the BJ "talent" after the Cowboys game and since then I just see all of his costly errors and bad defensive reads...and there are lots of them.

That would be good in an ideal world but we don't have anyone better.

I agree he isn't a winger.

I don't think he has played enough at centre for us to say he can't play there.

Backrow will probably be his position but like many backrowers before him they have started their careers in the backs.

Ricko and Flannery are two just off the top of my head who started in the centres and wing and went on to be rep forwards.
