The team we had was weak and once the panthers with more of their stars started to get on top you can't expect our players to have to overcome that plus why would they risk an injury in a nothing game? They did their best and got some points at the end. No point in being critical of anyone at this time. Can't wait for the team to get serious. We're good to go!

I'd be surprised if Robbo survives the next bad training session.

The game showed up their lack of depth and lack of skills a major problem of Robbo's in developing players - I am really thinking my prediction of finishing 7th after the 26 rounds may be a touch too high - Most on here say Tedesco and Cronk will make the difference but with such skinny (very skinny) depth any injuries will be hard to replace or fill.

Robbo inherited a squad already developed in 2013 and has done little in developing players to NRL level during his tenure - any player that has progressed from lower grades have been developed by lower grade coaches and they have purchased already developed players as well.

Robbo hasn't addressed flaws that have been exposed in players progressing internally to NRL or established in NRL either - i.e Manu and Latrell have defence/concentration and involvement issues which should have been addressed early but hasn't been for instance and established players who make the same errors week in week out - Toops/Fergo/JWH/NAPA/Friend/Pearce/ etc etc.

If no premiership in 2018 we should be chasing Ivan Cleary as coach for 2019- Cleary is a coach renowned for developing players.

robbo has developed the players - liu,napa, sst,toups,rts,mitchell just to name a few. Robbo is a solid coach and this trial shouldnt mean much. Cows lost??? and they are premier favs. Judge once the season is done.... Lots and lots of footy to be played...

If you think that these players will not play first grade this year you're dreaming. Fergo will have a regular spot and young Manu will get his chance and put a few doubters in their place.

I have no doubt he is capable of scoring tries but if he's letting in just just as many or more with his inept defensive reads then he's a waste of time or put a strong defender next to him.

Honestly don't know if you're a troll or not, Cleary is an alright coach hasn' really done much. 268 games with a win percentage of 48... Would rather not. Some of the stuff you say just seems a bit stupid and you have a rather pessimistic view on the team instead of hoping for the best

Yes but cleary has had to deal with cellar dwellar teams .Got NZ to GF got Penriff into semis ..what could he do with a class team??? I say he would win the comp.
