  • Things to work on from the trials are what the coaching staff are looking for...its why they are played. Its helps them adjust the radar from what's been the off-season focusses.

So im not concerned...as long as there is a steady build of energy and speed with what we do in both attack and defence.

Those goal kicks looked wonky and powerless...at least we know Lattrell will fix that!

He was making his way back into position - he dropped the ball from a hit up, Penrith swung it wide and scored in the corner. Typical piss weak play by Ferguson.

            • 1 thing the trial has showed us is that, Reece Robinson may be closer to a spot in our backline then we may think.

The one thing I take out of trials is that they have very little bearing on a team or players prospects throughout the season....unless they suffer injury

Yeah I literally don’t know what they are for and doubt that anybody wants/tries to win them. Guessing the coach asks people to try out certain stuff, but most of the players won’t be playing under Robbo anyway so I dunno what they are trying out...

Good to see he has picked up from where he left off.

It's not like any combinations were worked out. The only "pair" were Fergo and Manu.

The only benefit is that the coaches got to see some of the fringe players run around.

                            At least Fergo is consistent
