Cronk is starting to rub off on Boyd a fair bit. That was probably the most well spoken he has been in an interview. He still had his moments. He looked pissed off when the lab predictor had roosters finishing 3rd at the end of the season. Glad to see he thinks highly of our team this year.

If that doesn't get you excited for the season then i don't know what will. I really feel Cronk will help develop players like Latrell and Manu and i cant wait for his pin point low cross field kicks to Daniel Tupou's wing instead of those mundane boring bombs that Pearce puts up every set.

However id say he will only come into the squad through injury or Fergo losing favour at some point.#We Stand with ourJewish community#

Cronk was emphasizing his ability to bring others into the game but conceded he would not be the lynchpin once the season develops. He praised the skills of Cordner, Matterson, Mitchell, Ferguson, Manu and Tedesco out the back. Like a lot on this forum Manu's defense has been questioned, along with Fergos. But obviously Cronk considers these guys our attacking kingpins. And it is a hint that Manu is a first grade choice at this stage. I thought Robinson did well enough in our first trial.

gives you an idea what Robbo has been drilling into Cronk surrounding his role within our structure this year.
