Our pack is less experienced this year as opposed to last year. We lost Guerra who has played over 150 first grade games and Evans who has played about 70 games. We have replaced these with no one in the forwards.
Guerra, Evans, Watson and Gordon are big loses for various reason. Sure Cronk and Tedesco are big improvements but those dudes are not forwards.

IMO it is all speculation. We have 26 rounds to gel before the finals. Also, other teams (e.g. Broncos without Milford, Storm without Cronk...etc) will also have to find their mojo.
I thought he was still with the Ponies maan!!

Eh, the combinations our new squad had in 2013 only got worse in 2014 and 2015, so I wouldn't read too much into that.
The real reason we will struggle to win the comp is the same reason since 2014. Our attitude, composure, and game plan does not stand up to the pressure of finals footy. Hopefully Cronk is able to steady the ship

I think Milf was overweight in the previous pre season as well.Last edited by Mad_Rooster_in_GraceLand; 02-23-2018, 09:53 AM.Originally posted by King Salvo 'Tedesco and Woods will be more than likely Dogs signings but both will give Tigers last shot - we are not in the race anymore'

Didn't he tip us to finish about 13th in 2013?
If we don't win the comp it'll have nothing to do with combinations. As if Teddy Cronk and co won't click after 6 months. That's stupid.
So if we don't win it'll be because like all teams we'll need a tremendous amount of luck with injuries - in fact perhaps more than the Storm and Cowboys given a few vital cogs like Teddy Cordner Jwh and SST have extensive injury histories.
It'd also be because we don't have a recognised top quality goal kicker. And because our forward and outside backs depth is poor. And then there's the significant defensive issues on Fergo and Manu's edge.
Those are our faults. It doesn't mean we won't win the comp but we all know and generally agree about our vulnerabilities - and combos won't be one.
