Would be great if we could pick him up.. FPN isn't in the same league as Matagi and I have no idea why we let him go.

I’d be looking to offer Ian Rubin a comeback contract before FPN
It's scientifically impossible for Easts to be in Souths' shadow when there's daylight between them and us.
      Easts to win

Micheal Korkadatis or however u spell his name would be better than that useless FPN dude.

Always remember his last two efforts for us with fondness. Especially the Cowboy semi final when he and that useless croissant combined for an awe inspiring 10m.

He was shit with the Raiders and even more shitful in super league.

My grandmother runs harder than him most of the time and she is dead.

All of the negative stuff on this thread is true. BUT he is a Premiership winner, he played in 2 grand finals and is a Kiwi Int’l. You don’t achieve this by being terrible.
Making Steve Naughton look like Vince Mellars...

He wasn't terrible from 2010-2013 man. Sometimes he was an absolute beast back then. But his last 3-4 years have been shitful.

I think the dude is past it

No thanks to FPN. It was a relief when we finally moved him on. Why go back to him again? I could understand if he was showing some good form over the past few years, but unfortunately he hasn’t been.

Typical stats for FPN: 4 hit ups, 24 metres, 8 tackles, 2 dropped balls....
                Bludger!!!

                  Mate, it's not rocket science.

When ya blow your wad on Teddy, Cronk, Cordner, Keary, Crichton, Latrell and co...you've got to cut corners somewhere.

And we are cutting corners with our props.

                  Beggars can't be choosers.

                  Ya can't keep em all.

It's the nature of a cap constrained competition.

Given the circumstances at the current moment with our squad, i'm fkn thrilled we've got a dirt cheap, experienced, cranky, international prop coming back to the nest.

But will he offer more value than our up and comers? The jury is out as I think the FPN in 2018 is no longer near the FPN of 2013.....

Also aren't we about 750k under the cap anyway lol........maybe a bit less as I imagine we are front loading some players, maybe Cordner...

It’s true. When we get to the early 20’s in our roster we get very skinny. That’s what happens when you have a star studded lineup and is not what idiots complaining about our cap understand. We need a lot of luck with injuries.

If we could pay him based on effort it would be great. He’s a bludger. Could have been a really damaging forward in his day. Once or twice a season he was.

With few options available he may be the best one available and we all know we are starving for depth in the front row.

He only played 5 minutes in the 13 grand final.

Agreed. Props tend to bulk up as they become 'men'. There's no real shortcut...

I'm happy with the talent we've signed. However, the cap is such that you're always gambling on things like injuries. It makes the game more exciting. I'd hate it if the NRL was like the EPL where the same teams always win the comp and nobody else gets a serious shot at it.

We don't need to worry about FPN joining the chooks as was chatting with a real estate friend in Newcastle today and he has just rented a property in Newcastle. Another ex rooster joining the knights
