No, but if I had a time machine I’d travel back in time and tell Uncle Nick he let the wrong premiership winning half leave the club.

In in the long run, letting Maloney go was a blunder.
It's scientifically impossible for Easts to be in Souths' shadow when there's daylight between them and us.
    Easts to win

From last years team.. Evans. Big, fast, athletic, good footwork (shit hands, but hardly on his own at the Chooks)

had the ability to break a game open from the bench and I reckon Cronk would've used him far better on the fringes than Pearce ever managed.
      ..it’ll be interesting to see

        Maloney.

We'd have another premiership if we'd have kept him. All we had to do was offload Pearce a couple years earlier.

Lol at people saying SKD. I will miss Pearce's effort, he always looked like he was busting a gut. However Cronk will bring a more polished performance and therefore I think we will be a better team. Watson was energetic but I would definitely not have gotten into a bidding duel for him. SKD & Guerra, I'm glad are gone.

From previous years was devastated when we lost RTS, was devastating for us and had an unbelievable work ethic for doing the tough stuff not just the fancy plays

See, i'm not 100% convinced on Evans. He had a solid 4 years with us believe it or not, and he has never looked close to being a dominant forward when on the field in first grade. A few good runs here and there, a good hit here and there. But nothing to write home about. Titsvano has already shown more promise IMO than Evans ever did.

I suspect he's one of those players that come through having dominated as a young man, but for whatever reason just don't have it when it comes to first grade.

Happy to be proven wrong, but just i see him as an awkward gangly Parra bench forward who will do a job for them.

We have never recovered in the centers after letting jenko go, both attack and defence.

i was disappointed he didn't improve as much as I'd hoped. It was just those few big runs/hits that made me believe there was more to him and that he wasn't being utilised better.

Agree about being a dominant junior. Kinda saw him as a centre who'd grew so much they threw him in the forwards but didn't quite have the ticker to flourish.

Not sure where he fits into the Parra pack either. Could be another Takarangi? Anyway, I wish him well and I hope we flatten him in round 25

I think Michael Gordon will be the biggest loss.

Unsuprising to most I regret seeing the club let Pearce go the most. I wont go into it as I've already had plenty to say on the topic.

It was sad to see Watson go as I loved his style of play and its always dissapointing to see kids who have come through some part of our development system let go. But he's either a fullback or 5/8 and if the club had to make the decision 100 times over Keary and Tedesco are 100% the right direction. Keeping an unhappy player on the bench for one more season just to see him leave eventually would've done nothing for either parties. The promotion of Radley to utility who has a long term future at the club in the forward pack is the right call for the club and the promotion to a starting spot at an NRL club on the rise is the right call for Watson.

Kane Evans had his time, freak athletic specimen but just lacks co-ordination. Maybe he will grow into his body and be a late bloomer but that's a long shot. We needed to move on and blood other options. Right call IMO.

SKD offers more as a winger than ferguson IMO and I really didn't like his exit from the club. Left a bitter taste in my mouth. There's no clear back up options or junior talent coming through either. How much the stuff up with Carter actually played in his depature I dunno but seemes like it was used as an opportunity to get rid of a player who was leaving at the end of the season anyway.

Guerra, right call IMO. His best is behind him and our second row options especially when chricton arrives are very good.

                          Maloney for sure.

                          He'll take Penrith close.

Agree, but the OP wanted to know who of last year's departures you regret the most.

For mine, no one, you canot keep them all.
