Little boy. The 3 gents were not moses, jesus and mother Teresa. They were not found in the deepest recesses of the desert.
They were Carney, Myles and Masoe.
One is a confirmed alco. One is a disgruntled soon to be titan. The other is a coconut.
They were outside the Sheaf (which is a pub that serves alcohol in a non discerning manner) at closing time.
Muz/Moderators, here's your opportunity to ban this annoying turd for his discriminate and condescending manner and
continual disregard for others.
Is it possible for you all to just take a deep breath, settle down, and wait for the outcome of the investigation.
I refuse to judge people based on hearsay.
I am prepared to give anyone the benefit of the doubt, and wait before I make a decision on whether they are guilty as charged.
After all is'nt that what justice is all about.
So lets all take a Becks and have a good lie down.
I'm betting the first thing the IC does is give our club an ultimatum, relocate to Perth or have our NRL licence given to an expansion club. A move like that would immediately accomplish two things. Remove Politis and his closed shop board of grovelling suck ups and relocate the club away from the farking cross.
Chook.
Whoa .. really??
So far, apart from being out late at night, allegedly, this hardly warrants banishing the whole club to the other end of the earth, or worse, Perth.
At the moment, they have let their team mates down for some pact they may or may not have broken, for that they may be total and utter dickheads and should be accountable to their team mates. For anyone that has ever been anywhere within liniment sniffing distance of a sports club there is always someone doing something that is unacceptable to someone else.
If anything worse comes out then the reaction should fit the scenario. So far, it's taken a phone call to the club for it to be an issue. There is no police report, nobody has been admitted to hospital they probably even paid their cab fare.
As a fan it's annoying and disappointing if there appears to be a lack of discipline by the players involved especially considering how they've been playing but there doesn't appear to have been anything of any significance occur.
Once again these are young footballers with not a lot of sense, a lot of time and money and until something illegal emerges then stupidity is the cost of ownership.
The world is in a financial meltdown, London is burning and we're worrying about 3 guys who were out late on a school night.

Why is it that the most sensible post on this subject comes from a fan of another club (albeit one with a proven track record of being a grown up).

I've been throwing the Perth bone out there a couple of times, take it with a grain.
But I will disagree with the rest. If Todd Carney does not have the sense to understand the importance of him being a complete clean skin -for at least the remainder of this atrocious season - then he never will. He is simply too stupid to get it! He may be young with a lot of time and a lot of money, but he also has an enormous responsbility to win football games. Something that he has been failing miserably at. If he was tearing it up we wouldn't be having this conversation. I would not bat an eye if he was out at 2 am...getting a shag in a toilet. But he aint' tearing it up. He's playing like he doesn't give a fark imo, and this breaking team rules only confirms that.
I farking hate seeing us third last on the ladder, treading water trying to keep our heads above another spoon! It is miserable! And seeing one of the chief architects of that misery breaking rules with two other subcontractors...
If they were employees, litigation would be an option.
What is the purpose of the hyphon? Is there a link btw the two sentences? I cannot make it out. And then to finish with "yes" as if you have confirmed something. Very cryptic Blindfaggy. Me thinks you have been cheated on so many times you believe it when she says the sticky residue is honey....."have some"

Trust me when I say I get that !!
The type of persona that does that is also the type of persona you want in your football team. He's not in a choir, he's not serving behind a counter or answering phones he is playing one of the most brutal contact sports in the world. The best ones are lunatics.
You have an entire team that is misfiring, the expectation is greatest on Todd Carney due to his potential and his exploits. My guess is that Carney is not being doing anything different this year from last year. He is under more pressure and that is, I suspect with my limited pop psychology knowledge, what he's not coping with.
I don't know what the answer is and I don't know how you get the balance right. The best example you would be familiar with would be Adrian Morley, an absolute brute on the field and one of nature's gentlemen off it. Sacking Carney and co because they continue to "be footballers" away from the football field is too convenient and frankly pandering to the overbearing politically correct world we live in. I don't want to see the game continue to get sanitised.
My points are these; wait til the facts are known and don't judge him with standards we wouldn't expect of ourselves.
Just quietly, there are a number of Bulldog supporters that are hankering for the days when we were feared and revered and our players pushed the envelope. All this tree planting, giggling, goody two shoes transit lounge image we have adopted aint winning us many games at the moment.

Reason: It didn't make sense !
I'll tell you what the ****ing shame is. It is a shame that these three blokes (one who is suspended for two weeks, one who is injured and off to another club shortly and one talented alco who just can't wait for the off season) had to have one of their last nights out on the piss spoiled by a dobber.
Seriously...whatever happened to the good old days...when men were drunk and taxi drivers stfu...
Yawn, storm in a schooner glass...if it was FPN, Myles and anyone else but Carney it wouldn't rate a mention..

See thats the problem, the modern age have been the death of the Good old days.
News about "celebrities" is king.
The media want to feed the public all the dirt on these "celebrities"
With the advent of smart phones and internet, news is instant, the grapevine that once spread slowly is now a superhighway of information. Even forums like this purpetuate rumour, some even claim opinion as fact.
the good old days are gone, Welcome to george Orwell's 1984!!!!

At a football club, there’s a holy trinity – the players, the manager and the supporters. Directors don’t come into it. They are only there to sign the cheques.
